Zambia Reinsurance PLC is a Zambia-based reinsurance company. The principal activity of the Company is to underwrite all classes of reinsurance business (Non-life and Life). The Company operates through five segments: fire and motor, engineering, accident, marine, and life. The fire segment focuses on all property, assets, and all industrial risks. The motor segment offers automobile and third-party liability coverage for personal and commercial vehicles. The engineering segment consists of engineering projects, computers and servers, mobile plant, and machinery/machinery breakdown. The accident segment consists of burglary, liabilities, goods in transit, bonds, fidelity guarantee, professional indemnity (bankers’ blanket bonds), personal accident, directors and officers liability, all risks and umbrella liabilities. The marine segment focuses on marine cargo, hull, aviation, and related liabilities. The life segment offers individual life and group life insurance contracts.
