Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange Public Limited Company is a Tanzania-based company. The principal activity of the Company is to provide securities market to investors who intend to invest in the listed companies. The Company provides a platform that assists companies to raise capital through the issuance of equities and debt securities, which are then listed at the Company. Its segments include Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE) and CSDR. The Company has 28 listed companies, of which 22 are local companies and six are cross-listed companies. On the bonds market, there are several Treasury bonds with maturities ranging from 2-25 years and corporate bonds listed at the Company. The Company’s subsidiary, CSD & Registry Company Limited (CSDR), is engaged in clearance and settlement of securities and custody of security services.
